- Audio Engineer / AV Technician
These are full time, year-round positions at our offices located in Franklin, WI. Go Audio offers the following benefits with all positions:

AUDIO ENGINEER / AV TECHNICIAN
The Audio Engineer / AV Technician position involves the following:
- Driving to event sites in a company truck.
- Setup, operation and strike of equipment at shows and events.
- Mixing audio for a wide range of events from small corporate meetings to large concerts.
- Interacting with clients throughout the event to ensure expectations are met.
- Assisting with prepping gear in the shop and loading trucks.
- General maintenance, cleaning and repair of equipment.
- Assisting with advancing shows and site surveys.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years on the job mixing experience (preferably a mixture of corporate and concert work, FOH and monitors).
- Ability to identify audio frequencies by ear and mix corporate events with multiple lavaliere, earset and podium microphones.
- Experience and understanding of current industry-standard mixing consoles.
- Knowledge of Dante networking and the Lake platform is a plus.
- A general knowledge of video systems (projectors, video walls, switchers, cameras) is another plus.

BACKLINE TECHNICIAN
The Backline Technician position involves the following:
- Driving to event sites in a company truck.
- Setup and strike of backline at shows and events.
- Providing support to the artist during a show and making sure there are no issues with gear.
- Interacting with both client and performer throughout the event to ensure expectations are met.
- Assisting with prepping backline gear in the shop and loading trucks.
- General service and maintenance of backline including changing drum heads and guitar strings.
- Advancing backline needs with artists and making order changes as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working regularly with a wide variety of musical instruments.
- Complete understanding of drums, drum hardware, drum heads and cymbals.
- General knowledge of guitars, guitar and bass amps, keyboards, organs, percussion and DJ gear.
- Ability to tune guitars and drums.
